OBLIGATIONS TO CARRY FIRST AID MATERIAL ON MOTORCYCLES

In Germany

In Germany there is no obligation to carry first aid material on motorcycles. According to the Ministry of Transport, the reason for this is the insufficient storage space on motorcycles.

TIP: we recommend carrying a bag specially designed for motorcycles with sufficient first aid material. We take DIN 13167:2014-01 (first aid material for motorcycles) as a guide here. This bag is small enough to be stowed anywhere.

Abroad

If you are travelling abroad on a motorcycle, you should find out about the obligations to carry first aid material before starting a journey. For other countries, such as Austria for example, make it compulsory to carry it on motorcycles.
